This policy explains what personal data we process, for what purposes, for how long and what rights you have — in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD).

2. What data we process and why

Camera Rent processes the personal data you give us through the forms on this website, the data generated as you browse (cookies, see the cookie policy), and data arising from the contractual relationship if you book a service.

  1. Contact form and quote requests — name, email address, phone number and message. Used to reply to you and prepare a quote. Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  2. User account — name, email address and password (always stored encrypted). Used to manage your bookings and view your history. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  3. Bookings and invoicing — identification, contact, payment and tax data when you book. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6.1.b GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c GDPR). Retention: six years from the last entry (Spanish Commercial Code) and four years for tax purposes (Spanish General Tax Law).
  4. Marketing communications — email or phone, only if you have provided them and given your explicit consent by ticking the relevant box. Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR). You can unsubscribe at any time by writing to info@camera-studio.es.

3. Retention

Your data is kept for the duration of the relationship and, afterwards, for the statutory limitation periods. Quote requests that do not result in a contract are deleted after one year.

4. Recipients and processors

Your data may be processed by:

  • Service providers acting as data processors (hosting, maintenance, payment gateway). All are bound by data-processing agreements under Art. 28 GDPR.
  • Google (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Maps) — these may involve international transfers to the United States, covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (DPF).
  • Public administrations, courts and tribunals in compliance with legal obligations.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers (Google, among others) process data outside the European Economic Area. In every case we ensure adequate safeguards (European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions or frameworks such as the EU–US DPF) before any transfer.

6. Your rights

You may exercise the rights granted by the GDPR at any time:

  • Access — to know what data of yours we process.
  • Rectification — to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erasure (“right to be forgotten”) — to ask us to delete your data when no longer necessary.
  • Restriction — to ask us to limit processing in certain circumstances.
  • Portability — to receive your data in a structured, commonly used format, or to have us transfer it to another controller.
  • Objection — to object to processing based on legitimate interest or for direct marketing purposes.

To exercise these rights, write to info@camera-studio.es attaching a copy of an identity document. We will respond within one month.

If you believe we have not handled your rights correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish data-protection authority (AEPD), at C/ Jorge Juan 6, 28001 Madrid, or via www.aepd.es.
